HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO INSTALL MY MINIPOOL?
MiniPools™ are completed in six to eight weeks. Project timelines are dependent on weather, excavation and permitting, if required.
A lot of this is quiet time, waiting on cement to cure!
HOW LARGE CAN YOU BUILD A MINIPOOL?
We stay true to our name - all MiniPools™ have a footprint under 200 square feet. Exterior dimensions range from 8x10' to 12x16'.
These pools are made for chillin' with a standard "drink-holding height" depth of 40 inches. Additional depth is an upgrade option, up to four feet.
Most popular is our 10x14 MiniPool with the standard 40" depth.
IS A MINIPOOL ABOVE GROUND OR UNDERGROUND?
Our pools are designed as water features that are partially submerged. Most sites lend themselves to an exposed exterior wall that serves as additional seating, typically 14-22" above ground.
We may build a pool completely above ground, but only when we are building up to meet a raised deck or elevated patio/foundation. In some cases, we've tucked a MiniPool into a hillside so one side is ground-level entry while the opposite side is completely above ground!
CAN I CUSTOMIZE THE LOOK OF MY MINIPOOL?
Absolutely! Our team will work with you to select the finishes and options to get the look you want. Every MiniPool is custom created and one-of-a-kind.
IS A MINIPOOL HEATED/COOLED?
Heating or chilling your MiniPool can let you enjoy it year-round. We can go over the options during your initial consultation.
IS A MINIPOOL CHLORINE OR SALT WATER?
Either option is available.
WHAT IS MAINTENANCE LIKE ON A MINIPOOL?

Maintenance is “MINImal”. Your mini pool requires less time to clean and less chemicals to maintain, and a majority of the work is automated by our setup.

We provide Pool School and a maintenance starter kit to every new MiniPools™ owner before handing over the keys.

Just a few minutes with the skimming net and brush, once or twice a week, and you’re done. Some people find it relaxing – it’s like your very own watery zen garden.
HOW MUCH WATER & ELECTRICITY DOES A MINIPOOL USE?

Water – A mini pool is initially filled one time, and you’ll just need to top it off an inch or so every couple of weeks due to evaporation, or more if you like to splash a lot.

Electric – Your MiniPool pump is able to circulate and clean your entire pool efficiently in a fraction of the time because of the miniature size – which equates to a lot less time you need to have your pump running. With our standard recommended pump time of 4-5 hours daily, which is automated, you’re looking at just over a dollar a day.
WHAT KIND OF ACCESS IS NEEDED TO INSTALL MY MINIPOOL?
If a wheelbarrow can get there, we can, too. Our average jobs do not require large machinery.
HOW WILL MY MINIPOOL INSTALL EFFECT MY LANDSCAPING?

This is dependent on access to your pool location. Our team rarely uses heavy machinery, and we rope off the area we will need to make trips with a wheelbarrow. This is usually a small perimeter around your Mini Pool and a pathway to materials.

We respect your yard and take extra precautions to preserve your landscape during the build.

Our team will work with you on the designated path, prioritizes re-locating sod, and can help with yard reclamation on request.
CAN YOU BUILD A DECK OR PATIO TO COMPLETE MY MINIPOOL AREA?
Yes! We can either add a new look for your backyard oasis, or seamlessly tie into your existing layout.
WHAT ABOUT MY SEPTIC AND/OR SPRINKLER SYSTEM?
These systems are important, and exactly why many of our clients choose a MiniPool! We can generally avoid locations that interfere with septic and sprinkler systems due to our small footprint & above-ground build. The locations of these systems will be addressed in your initial consultation.
